Hernan Lopez is a seasoned Founder and C-suite executive who writes about entrepreneurship, business leadership, digital art, and media.
A native of Argentina with an MBA from the University of Miami, Hernan is the Co-Founder of Danvas, a venture-funded company that aims to showcase digital art through luxury LED displays.
He is also the Founder and Chairperson of the Hernan Lopez Family Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting equity and diversity in leadership.
Before launching Danvas, Lopez was the Founder and CEO of Wondery, one of the largest podcast production companies, now a division of Amazon. Under Hernan’s leadership, Wondery became renowned for its award-winning captivating storytelling podcasts, such as Dr Death, WeCrashed, Hollywood & Crime, Business Wars, The Shrink Next Door, and Joe Exotic. The company was responsible for 31 podcasts that reached #1 on Apple Podcasts, and 19 shows which have been adapted for TV.
Hernan has been a featured speaker at prominent global conferences, including Cannes Lions, Natpe, CES, The Festival Of Media, Promax, SXSW, WSJ Tech Live, The INMA World Congress, and many investor conferences. His work has been published in Entrepreneur, Ad Age, and Fast Company. Lopez is a founding member and Governor of The Podcast Academy, previously served on the board of GLAAD, and now serves on the board of the Latino Donor Collaborative.
